Bheemanna Khandre Institute of Technology Bhalki in Bidar district of Karnataka established in 1982 under the visionary leadership of Dr. Bheemanna Khandre, Freedom fighter & Ex. Minister in Govt. of Karnataka and with the holy blessings of Param Poojya Dr. Ma. Gha. Cha. Chennabasva Pattadevaru. Our Institute is marching forward under the dynamic leadership of Er. Eshwar Khandre, Chairman BOG, Working President of KPCC, Ex. Minister of GoK and MLA of Bhalki Constituency. The Institute is approved by AICTE New Delhi, affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi and is accredited by IE(I)and NAAC with B++ grade.
The sprawling campus spreads over 35 acre having built up area of 70000 m2 with well equipped laboratories, workshops, drawing halls, seminar halls, big library having about 58,000 books and more than 1500 e- journals, lecture halls, digital class rooms, computer centre, departmental computer centers, browsing centers with broadband internet connectivity, 03 boys hostels accommodating about 700 boys and 02 girls hostels accommodating 350 girls, canteen, bank, gymnasium, sports facilities. Training & Placement Cell, NSS, Student Welfare Office, EDP Cell, STEP, Co-Operative store and Consultancy Cell etc.
The greenery and the ambiance of the campus keep the students cheerful and will have enjoyable learning experience. Institute is offering BE courses in Civil, Mech., E&CE, CSE, Chemical Engineering, CSE (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning), CSE (Data Science) and CSE (Cyber Security) M.Tech. in GTE (Civil Dept) and Comp. Science & Engineering (CSE Dept.) as well as MCA(Two years course). Seven departments of the Institute have been recognized as Research Centers by VTU. Till date more than 11,000 students have passed out and our alumni are found in several blue chip organizations in India and abroad. The Institute has dedicated and experienced staff and other infrastructure facilities as per AICTE norms. For meritorious students scoring more than 75% marks and above, fee concession/scholarship is also provided. To the toppers of Karnataka CET/JEE as well as for other States Engineering Entrance Examination toppers, the Institute offers concession in fees / scholarship.
